The Purpose
The purpose of Children's Ministry at New Life Church is to partner with
parents in laying a foundation for the salvation and
discipleship of our children through Bible teaching and modeling
by caring adults.
The Mission
Encourage the children to radically seek the Lord. Remember the
words of our Lord…."A CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM”
Foundational Scripture
You shall teach them diligently
to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your
house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and
when you rise.
Deuteronomy 6:7
One Example in Scripture
about a Child Who Was Anointed a King By God:
Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he
reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. And he did what was right
in the eyes of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his
father; and he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the
left. For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet a
boy, he began to seek the God of David his father, and in the
twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high
places, the Asherim, and the carved and the metal images.
